The PSA held an Iftari-cum-Picnic on Monday, 15 September, 2008 from 4:30 to 7:30 at Sai Kung Country Park. The programme included congregational prayers, some interpersonal activities and Iftari dinner. A good number of people attended the event.

All the participants were requested to gather together near Delia Memorial School (HW) at 4:30 from where they were transported by private cars to Sai Kung Country Park. Upon arriving at the venue, Asr prayer was performed which was led by Muhammad Ibrar Abbasi, the PSA vice-chairman.

Next, three activities on strengthening interpersonal relationship were carried out. Hafiz, the PSA chairman, facilitated the activities. The first activity, Trust Fall, which was aimed at consolidating trust among members, brought about a lot of laughter. The next activity – the Balloon Race – not only provided entertainment, but also presented a good chance for the members to strengthen teamwork skills. The last activity, which was named ‘Guess What’ was also enjoyed by the members. In this activity, members were given a word and were asked to act out the word while the audience guessed the acted-out word.

Soon it was fast-breaking time. The food was arranged on the tables. After breaking the fast, the members opted to offer Maghrib prayer first. Once again, Ibrar led the prayer. Next, all members, who have been fasting for the whole day, started enjoying the delicious food. The program was punctuated with some group snapshots.
